Design

I learned to make illustrations and to design websites as part of my design classes.

I mainly use Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma and Canva, depending on the work.

My missions

  • Making illustrations. I made a mandala about Christmas, a Toy Story 4 poster in Olly Moss' style and some personal drawings with Adobe Illustrator.
  • Photo editing. On Photoshop, I made some "matte paintings" : an image showing an imaginary and fascinating scene.
  • Discovering 3D. In Blender, we made a low poly mountain village in group. I made the town hall and different animals.
  • Designing User Interfaces. With Figma and Adobe XD, I designed parts of websites and apps, like a Wikipedia page or a blog article.

What I learned

Using design tools. I learned to use Illustrator for vectorial drawings, Photoshop for photo editing and InDesign for prints. I'm also familiar with Figma.

The basics of UX and UI. As a content writer, it's important to keep in mind that interfaces must be clear and easy to navigate for users.

Precision and rigor. I had to make pixel perfect interfaces and find ways to keep consistency between screens.
